many many many years ago i used to listen to rotterdam/gabber & there was this one track called "IK VIL HAKKE". someone told me it meant "i want to dance" or something like that.

thanks for your help :D
XeCUTionER
you should ask this in the dutch forum :)

but i think, you are right! "hakke" is a spezific dance, the gabba dance!
Blace
It's "Ik will hakke", that's dutch and you really can translate it as "I want to dance".

"Hakken" is a special way of dancing, mainly to Hardcore music.
But XeCUTionER is rigth.. you better ask the dutch people, mayby they can explain it somehow to you.
Bloodflower
well i would guess "ik will" means like german "ich will" so "i want" would be translated more corectly...

and yes, hakku/hakke/hakken is that stupid looking kind of "dancing" that all those non-brainers try to immitate
XeCUTionER
hakken can be fun as well! (remember promo @ innercity 04) but the dutchs are really freaks!! :D
Bloodflower
i did only a few ppl saw in my life that really CAN do this "dance" ;)
and ur not one of them :wtf:
XeCUTionER
