that's Awesome!!!! :D i've made my mom cds before- she enjoys melodic chill out stuff like chicane, etc. but i can't get her to like trance or prog- she says it's too repetitive and i can't argue with that. but at least she's cool with me blasting it all over the place :P

Didn't New Order used to be the worst live-band on the planet? I have been a fan of theirs ever since Technique, but have always been told that they suck suck suck live - by other fans!:eyespop:

What about the new album - has anyone heard it? Is it more of the guitar stuff from "Get Ready" or is it more electronic?

(Sorry for posting slightly off topic in your thread)
EDIT: Ohh, someebody already did. Great :)

you're pretty funny danska :) if i go, i'll let you know how it was. and it was bad, then we'll officially name you the Danish Prophet of Doom. :toothless

Hehe. Maybe that should be my new status line. Hopefully it will instill some fear and respect among my heathen colleagues in the PDD-subforum:disbelief. Too bad that nobody will be left to fight DJ Sammy's case after such a shift in status...:(

Anyway, the only exciting live experience with New Order, that I've heard of, involved Bernard Sumner giving the audience the finger and recieving a beer can in the forehead in return:eyespop:. Now I'm counting on you to relate a better tale to me.

The hardest part was getting my mom out of that commercial KTU . I told her I would make her cd's if she doesnt listen to it anymore. :) My mom does like the dancy stuff ;)

Exactly! The "extended dance mix" is pure genious. The last part of the 80s was really the peak of New Orders career IMO.
