| Seems that I'm the only non-virgin that hasn't had an one night stand. I wish I had one and regret it afterwards. They only thing I regret now is not having any. But don't worry man I'm sure that when you find the right one (yeah... right, as if) you will forget about her as quickly as you forgot her name. |

Thanks for the advice guys :) . Yeah, I know what you guys mean. I guess the reason why the night went so well was because I think for both of us there was never an "intention" to pick anyone up. I didn't just see her there and decided that gee, I'd like to pick her up and I doubt it that she felt the same. I believe the atmosphere was right and there were good vibes. We chatted and got to know each other really well first and then the attraction grew. It was great. For most of the night it felt like the world revolved around us and nothing else mattered.
Is this what people mean when they talk about love at first sight? I don't think so, I for one really don't believe in love at first sight. If you just see someone, I think it's more about lust because you really can't love someone just by looking at them (hmmm, somehow I get this feeling that some you TA's here will disagree LOL) Does love at first sight include getting to know that person at the same time as well?
Hehe, Blue Neon :) . Actually I felt like I was the shallow one really because she told me she had a bf earlier and I didn't care. Which is really bad in itself but since I don't know him means it's alright, right? LOL...oh well, I sure hope she's really happy wherever she is and wish her the best. |

Like Trancewave, you've painted a vivid re-enactment of that very faithful night, seems to me that you've actually fallen for that girl. Sometimes, it's best that you leave it at that, cherish those sweet times while you can. Human beings are like that, they love to get what they cannot have. Regrets, in your case, you should not feel. Not many of us are as lucky as you to have encountered such a girl and the experience itself. So take it easy man....I myself have had this encounter "Minus" the kissing, and licking.....:)
However, till this day, I could still vividly remember what happened that very night. "Sighs"....and it aches like hell....but no regrets! We should all move forward, flip the pages of memories every now and then to remind ourselves of what we had experienced before, and don't even try to imagine that it might happen again, well, in that very identical manner, at least. So buckle up, move on, tommorrow's gonna be a lovelier day!

Trancewave, I don't have much to offer on (ah) sagely advice since my experiences are not the same as yours. Yet I do understand what you felt.
There was this ladiefriend I met last year. I (we) felt that instantaneous, inexplicable bond between us. I didn't see her much but talked to her long distance on the phone. I remember that day when I was at a massive rave (last year) in August with her and company.
That moment came when I just sat and watch her movements -- like a tiger mesmerized by the grace of divine presence. I felt this intense rapture resonating from the middle of my chest, spreading like rippling tidal waves all over my body.
I was shaken and stirred in knowing what real love felt like. I wanted to be with her yet I had no need to possess her. No sexual complusion.. No crush.. No infatuation.. But enthralled.. Just a deep sublime feeling of respect for her.
Time seemed to have stood still when I held her. I even lost the awareness of holding her and the surroundings itself. All I felt was just the bubbly blissful warmth. 8)
