Police reports

Anyone know of somewhere I can check what the police has been doing recently? Something like an online catalog of the reports that the police officers file at the end of the day. I figure that such a thing must be available - for newspaper journalists for example?
The reason why I ask, is that there was quite a dramatic arrest next to the building I live in (13 police cars, the guy was arrested at gunpoint, and they had to ram his car in an intersection to stop him), so I'm quite curious as to what the offender had been doing.:conf:

not sure about this one, but i know for an accident report you have to pay for it a copy of it so lols i dont know if putting these reports on the web would make sense for them.

Perhaps a police blotter from the local paper or something might have some details. Dependin on what happened it might be kept very hush hush.

If you know his name you can use this inmate look up search to find out. It will list the charge and date as well.

That link might help..

I work for the Government Records Council in Jersey..
We deal with the Open Public Records Act.. Some police reports are non-diclosable though.. for instance, if there is an ongoing investigation related to that incident, you would not be able to see the record

That's Jersey though
