Hey everyone. I'm planning on working on a couple of themed mixes in the next few weeks, and am looking for some tracks that would be good, and appropriate for each.
The first is a three part mix with a cosmic/space theme. The first part being a "leaving earth..leaving home/introspective look at the human race". Think Endre's "Kallocain"..maybe something a bit deeper..like Deepsky's "Talk like a stranger". Tracks that have clips from space missions would be IDEAL...like Scintillator's "The festival".
The second part is gonna be much darker.(Deep in space, no turning back..no guarantee that you'll ever reach your destination)..kicking off with synergy's "Hello Strings" (from Armin's universal religion 2004)..and following the same style after that.
The last is a more uplifting (settling a new Earth kinda thing)...in the style of Capetown's "Pitstop".
Also, some melodic progressive tracks would be great. Starkid's Crayons ILM starkid, and Dominic Plaza's "sounds rushing" (David West Remix) style.
