Should I go see Luke Chable this Friday @ On Broadway - San Diego (pg. 2)

Well I e-mailed to get on the list.
Last week I was on the list for G&D but the line was around the block so I stepped up and paid in full.
Diamond Bar is closed for remodeling temorarily. All the eventvibe people have no where to go on Fridays but On Broadway.
Does anybody know what Diamond Bar is going to do the other six days of the week besides Fridays. Sounds like the investment is in a full time nightclub (trapize, sound system and beverage bars are being built). Lets face it the location cannot be beat. I like the building much. South Market has a better nightclub vibe than north.
My prayer is that Polka Dot can pick up Thursdays & Saturdays.

Fun time last night. Luke was supprisingly good and I really enjoyed his sound.
I would definatly see him again. |

Diamond Bar is not going to be hiring promoters over the summer... word is they are likely going for the sports crowd, as they are in a perfect spot to milk it. As you will see by the flyers around town Ortiz and crew are no longer at DB... And dot will definitely not be going in there. Keep a look out for 4th and B... they will be receiving a face lift pretty soon, and some interesting things are developing over there... |

You know teasing is mean.
Looks like Eventvibe has taken over the Abbey on Fridays. Great building and location but I haven't seen any shows there.
4th & B, while not the prettiest building is terrific for an after hours club. Established and no residential around to piss off. Plus the new House of Blues is taking all of the band business from them. Bring on the DJ's!!!
This city is to damn big to act so small.
Finally some good news in Americas finest. |

...the abbey is a cool spot, and people will check out the "fresh" new place for awhile but the venue just won't work. We looked into doing some events there awhile back... but there are too many variables involved with that place, that just don't quite come together. Too many costs and too much production involved to pull off a weekly.
Anyways... with the coming makeover 4th and B will be receiving over the summer... the place is going to be a different story.
Trust me, the best news is yet to come for America's finest... |
