i've volunteer'd a lot in my life and still do. however each project seems to get bigger and more rewarding. feeding like 75 homeless/sheltered people on thanksgiving a few years back was amazing... but reconstructing a mentally retarded center was also extremely worth doing.
after i retire, i plan on making it most of my life (along w/ writing music and my kids) |

people who devote their lives to this deserve the most credit. they go through the same hardship as the people they are helping.
i can't imagine being stressed about all the projects i've worked on, on a daily occurance.
volunteering is easy to get into and you will meet some of the most influential people in your life through it. |

i have helped out with special olympics for years, which was propbably the biggest difference ive made. it was tough, poor children with mental disabilities. very tough, but good. |
