Review: Drunken ass Wednesday night experience

So I had 3 tickets to the Raptors VIP year end Extravaganza party for last night and I went with a good friend of mine and his gf. The place was called Brant House - sweet place, really beautiful, surprisingly not that expensive (for an upscale place)! Stood in line for a while (naturally) and got in at about 11:10. The place was packed with pretty hot girls and load of cougars :disbelief .
Anyway danced around for a bit, had a few drinks, and at around 12 the "VIPs" started arriving...first came the "White Chicks" - Wayans Brothers, followed by Donovan Bayley, followed by a bunch of Raptors and a few other famous ppl - all the ladies were getting too excited. Meanwhile my buddy just finished Seneca so he had some of his friends celebrating at Menage a few blocks over, so at around 12:20 we headed over there.
Menage was fooking hillarious - first of all not only that it was a crazy drunken Gino crowd, Joie was performing live that night :crazy: :stongue: :stongue: and Tony Monaco was banging out hits on the ones and twos :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:. After standing in line for a WHILE we finally got into the Bistro floor and I ran into a TA...totally forgot his TA name :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: but I think his actual name was Karim...lol was it Nrg2Infnt?!?! :haha: :stongue: :stongue: He was pretty drunk by then. I decided to get another drink and it ended up costing $9.25!!!!!!!!! I was like...WTF...anyway the bartender was all bitchy it was hillarious...we got pretty hammered eventually and saw Joie a few times... :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
Then finally headed upstairs where I ran into DJ Hordash :stongue: :stongue: :haha: :haha: :haha: that gino!...aaahhhhh yes...got home at 3:20, had hardly and sleep and now i'm running off to my second meeting today out of 3...:crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
MENAGE ON WEDNESDAYS WITH TONY MONACOOOOOOOOO...Karim and I said we're starting a Roll Call every wednesday now :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: totally stupid durnken random Wednesday night. |

Menage was playing some amazing euro tunes last night. I was loving it on the live to air... but then i still listen to euro! :) I understand why most of yall here hate that , but its still in my blood and i was just soaking up the beats as i was driving home last night!
A good classic wayback playback euro set really pumps me up... its just so happy and fun IMO
anways, that's all ill say, bash away

If i had friends that enjoyed euro (besides me best friend the Bitch, but he lives down in NC now, so thats irrelevant) id love to hit up menage for the music on a Wednesday... i KNOW id hate the crowd prolly (hammered outta their tree ginos are hard to deal with) and be annoyed at the place at shutting down at 2-3am (i just HATE leaving parties before 7-8am), but my god the music would be heaven to me and absoultey fantastic for a change. id really go insane im sure. Non-stop dancing all night till it shutdown. |

man oh man.. i think im still drunk and its 12 pm now haha.. my friend was talking to joe downstairs for like half an hour.. i was like.. what the hell are you guys talking about.. joee only made like 2 songs lol!
he aws in and out in like 3 minutes.. It was great to see starsearcher really made the time pass by quickly in the basement room!.. i hope you got up to menage.. i cant remember what happend up there.. one minute i have my glasses. the next minute their broken.. the next minute the bar tender is escorting me to the bank machine.. the next minute the bouncer wants to beat me up?

After they close you can always go to afterlife on a wednesday night. Open till 6 am and features Mark Oliver, Addy, De-Koze and friends.... |
