Republik? (pg. 2)

Opening night the club was not empty at 2am.
And on opening night the place was full by 10:15. I know that that night was chaotic because so many people were trying to get into such a small space. Also if i remember correctly, the police stopped letting people into the club because of the traffic problems that were being caused outside. Things have settled down quite a bit. It still gets packed but the line is better organized and people dont seem to come all at once like they did before.
when you have 3000 people trying to get into a space that holds 1500 it gets a bit hairy not matter what. |

I remember talking to you while filling up my water bottle and another time in the DJ booth at guv. 2 be honest, you always see me at my height of altered state of mind.
I do remember the first time i met you a few years ago i was debating if i should start with you cuz of a post you did. lol

Republik is awsome! I been there twice and I luv it! The music and sound are amazing....and don't get me started on the amazing lighting they have.

Stop with the bull. I saw this withmy own eyes. I lined up at 2 am.. hardly saw anyone come out.. and the ones that came out of the club were complaining.
If the police stopped letting people inside.. why were they letting "cool" people by pass the line?
This is my experience.. and now an opinion has been formed about it. I have no desire to go there.. even if Marco V was spinning...
I got a few PM's by people telling me that i was right about Republik...but many here are afraid to be honest or blunt in thier posts. |

i went a couple of weeks ago
i guess its a nice place aesthetically, and i could see how some would like it altho i could care less about the place ... way too bright inside and too many flashing annoying lights, crowd was lame (no energy/vibe in that room whatsoever), place REALLY clears out come 2am ...

would I go back? YEA if there was a DJ playing there that I was DYING to see ... otherwise I wouldnt waste my time with the place ... |

| ps. when i went i had no issues with the line, got there around 11ish and waited maybe 10-15 mins MAX to get in ... sort of a big line but it moved very quickly |
