Hi Paul
I respect your music greatly but all you do on here is whore your own . I mean at least contribute to our forums, Zabiela does it, Dresden does it, Andy Jay Powell does it, so do lots of others. Come on dude, be more friendly and discuss some stuff with us, I know your time is not great but please try, we all love music here like you but its hard having just every artist hype their and then go away.

just wanted to put my two cents (not related to this thread of course .. hahah) .. congrats on your co-production with s&g in the track 'twisted' (awesome track) ..
and that fabulous choon '2nd skin' .. i can't tell you how many times i have heard stories from friends and people that have thanked me for recommending them the tune, because they got laid with the tune... :wtf: ... that's another story .. but great production material there .. keep it up, and good luck in the future ..  |

Hi Mate, i come on this board as much as i can but generally im just too busy to sit on my pc for any length of time hence the reason i dont really involve myself in much conversations.
I'm not trying to whore my own on this board all im doing is giving my fans info on what im doing etc..

I really dont see what the big problem is, this is a forum for people that like trance music to post topics about anything, if you don't like what i'm doing don't read the posts i put up, it really is as simple as that as i'm not forcing anyone to do anything. fans of mine like to know what is happening from time to time and maybe the people out there who know my name from my productions etc. but don't know how to get info on me its a good way for them to get info as well so quit the moaning and stop reading my posts if they annoy u so much.

taking the objective view here...
i think what torontotrance is getting at is what's the difference between any other producer (known or not known) whoring their stuff on TA. if all the amateur or "not-as-known" producers begin to post updates all the time here, it'd get clogged pretty darn fast. the contrary of course, is that a lot of us do want to know of updates from the producers we like and love when it is available.
so where is the line then? is paul mendez allowed to post updates on their music while others without any releases are discouraged from doing so? tough question if you get what i am saying...
i don't know the solution, just trying to avoid a firefight here and bringing to light what the issue is without anymore people getting ticked off...
hopefully a nice solution will show itself or the powers that be will come up with something...i do come here often to find info on new releases and it would suck to lose that because producers are chased away cuz of this. :( |
