Cool list bro' I always liked "Sven Vath - Breakthrough" and thought that had a big tribal feel to it.

I clicked on this thread thinking it said Tribal Techno Sucks, hehe.

Anyway, a classic from Cave is Carnival, has a real samba feel to it. I really enjoy most of Cave's tracks.

Juno reactor,
incredible stuff. some of htere stuff seems more like rock then techno but some stuff is incredibly like techno. Conga fury is one i really like and Conquistador part 1 and part 2. they mix really well together.

Are there links to listen to samples for any of the above? Any online stores that might carry them?

Yeah, that one's classic. Btw, now that you remind me, I think I know where he got the sample from and other samples too.
If you can check out Ecuadorian group Tomback. On one of their songs, the break down is exactly the same thing...

EDIT: the song is Tomback - Samba Tomback

when you really think about it, virtually every (not every) prolific techno producer has done at least one tribal-infused techno track.

Man Train - Tribal is one of my favourites.

dj_lane
Alex Karakasis - Life
Ben Sims - Manipulated (Adam Beyer Remix)

i've also always liked Killa Productions - Women Beat Their Men (A2) ever since i heard it...wicked samples here :toothless
