once again, i think some of you peeple underestimate me
umm yeah loderan, i thought my review was pretty fair, i didnt really go to town on bass, it has its place, just not my place i guess :) |

and...meh. what we all love brings us together as much as what we all hate. and as far as im concerned, NRG (unless its got the "nu" in front of it ;) ) sucks big donkey balls! ...any event where a jumping castle is a highlight ffs ;) |

fairly jaded post from almost all regular TA poster... wicked!
but almost all of us listened to the harder stuff when we just started going out.. :toothless
but back then it was all quality, now more than half of it are just noise. sorry rezzy, i didn't listen to much harder stuff anymore except for the classics every now and then, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong..

You'd be surprised how long i've been in the "scene". People like you were around when I started. People are constantly winging that the "scene" has lost itself. The scene hasn't been lost, its just you guys whinging about it.
I think its as good now as it was in '98, went there for a couple of years '00-'01 but now its back.
Less judgement more enjoyment. |

Tachyon, you a DJ? The people that bag HT/Hstyle are usually DJ's or wanna be DJs. I've thought a bit about trying my hand at DJing, but the one thing thats stopping me (other than I can't do it) is that I want to keep some mystry to the music. I don't want to be dancing and start to critique the music I'm listening to, I just want to feel it.
Anyone know what I mean? |

Can you feel it when not on drugs, it may seem a harsh judgement made here, but personally i would be driven to take drugs if i had to endure the pain of listening to hard trance for more than 2 hours. |

mate i wouldnt worry bout it too much, i once too was ridiculed for my affliction for the hard variety but then i realised if they dont like it, they simply wont like it and they are free to express their opinions in condemning it.
however, 2 generalisations i do not agree with you about :

todays hard trance, well i'll be honest, is . if anything, current hard trance is a shadow of its former self - even the stuff being produced in 2000-2001 was infinitely better. (2002 being my fave year)
