Hey
I have the Vestax Pmc 150 mixer ... and i want to change to new
Vestax pcv 275 and i saw that the EQ on the pcv is not so high
like the pmc 150
In the pmc 150 its
-24 / +6 for all EQ
and the pcv its -16/ +16 high
mid +/-12dB
+/-16dB low
Hmm The differents is so big? |

The Vestax has 3 frequency kill switches for 2 channels. While the middle channel on the mixer is set to post, cant be put through the crossfader or assigned to the kill switches. Do they still make the 275?
Kill switches= kills the frequency completely.Total shut down. |

vestax is still making the pcv-275. you still have pretty much the same effective range in the EQs. and alot of times when you cut your eqs that low, its sounds like . thee EQs on the 275 have a very smooth curve to them, and the shorter range will give you better control over how much you are actually pulling out. and it does have the infinite kills if you need a total frequency cut out.
i can still order these from vestax brand new if you want a quote on one. |

| -16 is usually plenty, and if thats not enough there are the kills. |

Hoo i forgot to ask ..
What is the Effect - Pre / Post bottun ? |
|

| i think the effect pre/post is if youre hooking up an effects unit to the mixer. but im not sure, i heard hooking up something like a EFX500 sounds like dookey with the 275 |
