| Has anyone done this? I was looking at the prices of CDJ200's and the US price in $ practicly = the uk price in £! Basicly half price, has anyone imported stuff? I take it there would be import duty (no idea how much) and high delivery costs? |

| I have brought stuff over from the US before and you will have to pay duty, tax and custom clearance. However if the shop is really helpful;) they will send it over and mark the price lower than what you paid. That way you pay less because the charges are done on the value of the goods. If they are really really nice they will take it out of the box and send it as "used" goods (as long as it's six months old or more you don't have to pay tax.....) i.e. it's your stuff youleft there last time you visited. I doub't however you will find a shop THAT nice:p |

Shipping for 1 cdj (1000 or 200) should run to no more than about $70- insured and express- mail.
Highly likely to get raped for import duty tho, unless as above they downvalue it or mark it as used.
I buy a lot of stuff from the states- simply because even with shipping and import, its STILL cheaper :D |

Also, Freak...
How much did you pay for a CDJ 1000 altogether inc. shipping, tax, duty etc etc?? Did you have to get a voltage converter too??
Cheers
