Yes, that's techno.

"share" music = share prison (up to 5 years in germany)

And that has reasons. So, why the hell does anyone ask nowadays about sharing files? Even the last stupid MP3 kid must have get it, that sharing MP3 is "bad".

Depends. Here, it's legal to download music, but not to upload to others. Maybe you should look into that.

And by "here", I mean the country I live in.

i dont really know laws in quebec about filesharing ... but if there's someone in this world that pays 60$ a month for a high speed connection and doesnt download anything i think he's just dumb :P personally im not against file sharing because it lets people discover new things (like new artists for example) and i never buy a cd without listening to it first so this is my opinion ;)
Ultraphase
Listen to it at the record shop. That would be usual.

"I want to watch the film first, before I decide wheather I'm going to the cinema or not."

Sorry, that's bullsh.
auranaut
No, it's "I want to rent the movie first, so that if I like it, I can buy it and watch it whenever I want".

The only pile of bull here is you.

Open another thread and let this be discussed if you like that.

If you rent a fu**in' film, you will watch it, don't you?
There's no difference between prelistening to a record or download some ty MP3 to "prelisten", but the point of legality.

I dunno about you, but renting a film costs me money.

I'm sure movie rentals are alot different in germany though.

That's not the point. I just wanted to say that there are only a few people who are that honest, to downlowad some track and then actually buy it afterwards. If you are that honest, congratulations!

But I think most people just download, listen and archive. Well, that's the situtaion in Germany. :(

It's 5am now here. I go to bed.

the only reason why i want to share is because i want people to hear all that good music they maybe never heard ....

If its good music, you should purchase it.

In regards to sharing it with others, you can simply name the artist and album/track. In hopes that they will purchase it, or else they might just find other means of hearing it.

You can usually find samples of most tracks on vinyl/cd on websites where you can purchase them, so directing people in the direction of these samples is always a great thing too.
