I knew Sander was the man but DAMN did he blow me away last night!!! What a great set!! So fresh and funky..I was LOVING IT!! Even on crutches! I got to go in the booth and take some pics with Sander due to my "handicap" so I really can't complain. :) He played a good 6 hour set and I thought he was on point the whole night. I never experienced any downtime. Some tracks I remember:

But here's what is important. I was sober, in pain AND ON CRUTCHES and still had a bangin' time!! That's when I know the music is good!

Unlike Bree, this Sander Whore didn't feel the majority of the set. At times I found it boring, dragging and lacking some UMPH! I haven't seen Sander in almost 3 months, so maybe my expectations were too high. I mean don't get me wrong, I had a good time and Sander did play some good tunes, But nothing that blew me away. I still love him and will go see him as often as I can. That's not changing. His New Years set was FAR BETTER than this. He is def a DJ that has alot of fun behind the decks(as you'll see when Brian posts his pics)

hehe, yea sander was great. I left early at like 4, i wasn't feeling to well and i didnt feel like waiting another 2 hours for another train. but i really LOVE that remix of nightmare hes playing, we got to find out who did the remix, the production is sick, right when he played it i was standing in the middle of the dance floor analyzing it haha, good stuff. that remix of xpander sounded like a mashup of xpander and some other tune. also, i love the visuals he does with the dvdj, i thought they were really cool, he used the same ones in miami.

Again i have nothing bad to say about a Sander night out...from the crowd, to the bouncers, to Sander...everything was perfect for me...
Didnt he play a a dub of that tune from the 80s with lyrics that go something liek this "Its the pressure principal oohh oohh"...i think thats the lyrics...i am almost 99% sure he did...towards the end. |
