Iv always used them, and im by far a candy raver. I really think they give it a bad rap. After all, it is a form of art and it can be as technical and fun to watch as anything else. Im talking about ppl who have practiced and put time into learned the moves, not these fags who take a pill and have so skill.

If this is true, im gonna be really mad, just when I need them for Danny tonight.
What are they trying to do, puch away more loyal customers?

They're probably trying to cater to an older crowd, where people don't rub each other, and shove blinking lights in each others eyes while they trip.

How much older lol... if my parents were in town they would of went to see Danny tonight and their in their 40's!

Personally I've never used them, never really seen the point in them since I don't take ecstacy. The crazy different colored lights they usually have set up at EDM events are good enough to trip me out, don't need a bunch of fools swinging these things around looking like idiots. Though I have to admit the people who practice them and do crazy with the strings and all that are pretty impressive sometimes.

From what I remember, glow sticks are only allowed on Friday at the Aria, since it's more Trance/Techno than Saturday. On Saturday, the public is a bit older and don't like glow sticks, compared to Friday. I think I read that over Aria forums

+1 for that

but I think it should be allowed only far from me....so i can see em at long range...but no edup guy is trying to make me trip....lol

I was at Ferry and sticks were allowed, Aria just doesn't sell them. From what I've been used to, stix and lights allowed on Fridays but don't bring a whole lot of them more than 2 pairs coz they take them from you at the door and will only let you in with a pair. They had problems with people selling inside for outragous prices.
So Lights allowed on Fridays and no lights Saturday @ Aria and at Circus.

Where's that pic of Krinker ?

So, let me get this straight, glow sticks are bad because:

1) cracked out 16 year-olds on e use them.
2) they trip you out.
3) they poke peoples eyes out.

Are you serious? Forgive my stubborness, but I still don't understand why you guys hate them so much. I've yet to hear a *real* valid excuse.

If I lost an eye to a glowstick I'd be pretty pissed. I think its more the whole atmosphere involved with glowsticks, the rubdowns, people in your face, people flailing, like that is annoying when you're dancing in a club.

I respect your opinion, but in MY opinion, all of that stuff just makes the night more magical. :D

Well Aria is taking preemptive measures to ensure this will never happen! :happy2:
