By the Numbers:
49 Officers on patrol.
81 Tickets.
211 People investigated.
286 Parking tags.
32 Vehicles towed.
2 Criminal arrests (assault and mischief/damage to property).
6 Arrests for intoxication.
10 Liquor Act charges laid by 52 Division plainclothes (vice) unit. (Included overcrowding, permitting drunkenness, permitting drinking in unlicensed area, failure to remove signs of service.)
60,000 Number of people thought to visit the entertainment district on the busiest summer weekends.

my saturday night started with me and infinity high watching a scene by my street of a huge car accident, no less than 20 officials vehicles (cop cars, fire trucks, paramedics), flares set on the street, and the biggest part od it all,
a paramedics chopper landing in the middle of the street to pick up the critical patient but finding it hard to leave from the road cos the streetlights were too close |
