ve seen BT and WoW live(2x)...live PAs are difficult, especially at clubs. the sound engineering at clubs is often subpar and takes into account several electronic devices, not acoustic or electric instruments.
that being said, BT was pretty good, tho this was 2k, and WoW the first time - tore the roof off, even if no one showed up for the show since it was a 'concert' rather than a club night. the sound was spot on and there was a ton of energy just in the setup. for the second time, the sound engineering was complete , as turning up the volume on a mixer set for a warmup dj isnt going to cut it for the live show. horrendous...vocals were far too high, too loud...i almost demanded my money back. (vinyl in Denver btw...hopefully they get their together, as their djs sets tend to be a bit better and the club is nice)
would love to see Faithless. im considering seeing Dj Spooky and his Drums of Death show. that could be fun - and i know the sound engineering would be spot on| |

How come everyone is suprised that faithless is actually a band, not just maxi jazz and sister bliss ;)
They truely are the best live band ive ever seen, i just hope they dont throw it all away as they have planned to, i got to hit the uk shores to see them some more first.
Did LSK sing and did they do the new version of why go with estelle? |

Well at their core Faithless are Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rolo, but Rolo can't play anything live so doesn't bother. They do use guitarists and vocalists and so on, but it's like saying Kool Keith is part of The Prodigy. |

| WOW uses live instrumentation too (keyboards, sample manipulation, vocalist, drummer and a bassist). Leftfield and Faithless aren't the sole providers of a truly live experience. :) |

well they are a band because andy and aubrey have been with faithless for most of their ten years, its just maxi jazz and sister bliss that are the face of faithless. |

| I went to see Faithless last Friday night at Alexandra Palace in London - superb venue and the music was just sooo good! It was my first proper dance live performance, and I'm not sure I can actually see anything bettering that! God Is A DJ, Insomnia, We Come One, Salva Mea... just so many classics, and the whole evening sounded so good! Sister Bliss is just amazing at what she does, and Maxi is too cool! :D |
