No I mean right after the gig I went to coach station got in Brum at 11, slept until 3, then I met up with some friends and chilled, at 8 I was at pub on the corner of Gods, had a few beers, went to gods, and to coach station right after at 5am, got a bus to london stansted, got there at 9, had to wait around 'til 1pm, flew back home, and got home finally at 5pm, and then I slept for 15h.
Would do it allover again in a heartbeat :D

I wrote this for Armin forum members, so you may not know all the people I've named in my 'report'.
Warning: Long read :D

Well where shall I start, to be honest I had such an amazing time that
at first I thought this time I will write nothing because it will not
do it justice, but I feel that's unworthy of it, so I'm gonna
attempt to bring you some of the highlights and experiences :)
First of all unlike my other voyages this time I had a partner in crime :D -
Debbie (Gone a bit Lara) - who we arranged to meet just a night before.
I thought this was great as we haven't seen eachother in 8 months since DV,
and would be fun not having to go alone, although I was suppose to meet
others at the club. My trip to London got delayed so instead of 7pm
I arrived there at 8.30, but she got there same time too all the way
from Edinburgh, and we went off to Oxford St., I wanted to buy a UK copy
of ASOT 2005, but HMV and everything had already closed, so we just grabbed
a quick bite to eat at local McDonald's. We then headed with tube to Turnmills,
and we lost some time there, because we didn't know which way to go at first.
Finally got around to area and went to a pub at about 10 or so, when we got to
club it was 11ish and there was already a massive queue outside, but as always
it turned out to be filled with amusing people, I've met a funny group of guys
who I can't remember their names but they had bunch of glowsticks and they
decorated me in some, was mint, really have to thank them if they read this.
Also met a couple from Ireland who apparently are just as big Armin fans,
the girl specially was intriguing as her accent sounded American and all the
other people were having a crack at it, I managed to get some flyers from
Anexo, pub next door to Turnmills, and finally got in at 11.30 or so.
Since Debbie had to stand in another line for people that bought tickets
online I first wandered around on my own, but again I met up with guys from
outside, they said come with us until you find your friends.
I was suppose to meet up with stilsy and Stace, but having been unable to
contact them I didn't know they weren't gonna show up.
I was on the dance floor at 11.45 and I thought Armin would start at 12
but I recognised it's his style of prog. being played so I went up to check it
out, since you can't see the DJ from the dance floor. Once I got up to the
DJ booth door I was surprised there weren't many people there unlike last time
when it was very crowded, I knocked on the door, and inside was also his
girlfriend Erika and a friend of her's, and Armin said hey that's FP.
So they let me in and I had a priviledge to enjoy watch my fav. DJ play
music that I love, and I got to hear it all first hand.
Erika was stunning and we had chat and so on, but music was so loud I could
barely hear anything. I don't know how Armin stood there for 8+ hours, after
spending 3h overall inside there I thought my head was gonna explode lol
All respect to him, he's really got a special ability/gift.
I have to thank them both VERY MUCH if they read this, they know why :)
Although I've been inside the DJ booth before to take
pics. etc., but this was different and it just made my night all the better.
Another guy entered the DJ booth, and we were trying to have a conversation
but as I said it was so loud that you could literally hear nothing, until
finally I figured out it's none other than Mike Foyle, a person who I was
suppose to meet up but couldn't reach either, we had fun from there on,
and treated royaly by the 1st couple :D
At about 1.30 I was and I think everyone inside stunned - some person
had spillt their whole drink on the turntable just as he played
Fred Baker - Confirmation, there were no paper towels inside and lights guy
had to run to get some, during that time the record amazingly kept on playing
even though the needle was submerged so to speak, never seen anything like it,
Armin tried to blow the liquid away but it didn't really work and song was just
1/2 way through so he couldn't just change it either, finally they brought in
the towels and they somewhow cleaned up the mess, he didn't use that turntable
for next 2-3 hours, I've really never seen anything like it, and I told Armin
this should go down to his DJ School lessons what to do when someone hozes you :D
I mean it felt uncomfortable although it was an accident, but he had 6-7 more
hours to play and he took it like a pro, really a legend!
Infact all of the night you could only hear these words from anyone that I spoke to,
Legend, Fantastic, Awesome... crowd was really into it, and the atmosphere this time
was really friendly, with people into the music more than anything.
At about 2 I couldn't stand the loudness of the speakers anymore, so I went out,
it was only then that I realised just how loud they were, I was deafened!
Next time I'm definetly gonna bring along a pair of earplugs.
I went down to dance floor and finally found Debbie, we had great time dancing,
and I've also met the Irish people I met on door again, a guy from UKTA, I believe
his nick was trance_addict2004, maria_dixon ?, she was a lot of fun, filthy angel ?
who I saw the next day at gods too with her bf, Lauren a friend from MSN,
and there were instances when people recognised me, but I can't remember everybody
I met up with Mike Foyle again, and a girl who works at Anjuna Beats, a photographer,
and Debbie, and we all danced and chilled outside the DJ booth, where many people
were still trying to get in and have a photo or autograph.
I've been asked few times if I know Armin or if I'm friend's with him because
I was in DJ booth all that time :D Really memorable.
At 4 or so he started to play harder techier, and I thought this was really
smart as people seem to take it better at such an all night events, although
I didn't recognise many tunes, Armin sure knew what he was doing, he's got
plently of experience by now for these long sets. By 6 I was really tired,
my feet could not move well anymore, I wandered around, and met some of the
Polish staff at Turnmills I met last time, and we had fun chatting etc.
And a girl that worked in the bar, she was cute as hell but not in the best mood,
had fun with her when me & Mike went for drinks.
Later I also met partybarbie from forum (a friend of Amber) who I've never met
before and only recognised from photos, she was very nice, and I felt sort of priviledged
to meet the last one of 4 Armin's Angels (older forumers will know what I mean).
At 7 or so I got back in DJ booth although I was tired I wanted to see Armin
finish the hour no matter what, guy from Turnmills came in and asked him how he's
doing, he said he's little tired but that he can go on 'til 8.
Another woman from staff came in and asked him for a signed vinyl it was some record on EE,
but I didn't recognise it, she gave him a 10 or 20 pound note for it, but he tapped her on
back and returned her the money, she seemed more than happy, hehe
(both me and Debbie got a signed vinyl copy of AvB - Shivers/Birth of an Angel).
I was in awe of Armin both as person and his ability to stand in that loud hot booth and
play all night, but people loved every minute of it, so I'm sure he found satisfaction in that,
I wish only he could party with us, because it feels a little unfair, but I personally felt
this is the best set I ever heard in my whole life, which I wasn't ashame to tell him :)
Last tune he played of which I unfortunately can't remember the name, but at the end
he pitched it down to full stop, I thought it would be the end, but he put on an encore,
it was Sky Falls Down, a beautiful classic, and I went out to dance, which he followed by
2 more encores until he finished at 8, a really magnificent set.
By that time rest of Turnmills was completely empty and had been already cleaned only
the main room was full of people and where the music was, was funny to have a look around.
After saying bye's me and Debbie went to subway, where I had to hurry to catch my bus
to Birmingham at 9, luckily I met some couple at station who told me which way to go,
and after running and driving with tube, I just made it to station at 8.55 phew!
I slept all time during the ride which only took 2.10h and when I got to Birmingham
it was sunny and beautiful saturday morning.
Debbie stayed in London to go see some crazy flower exhibit :) and came with train in afternoon.
I went to HMV to buy a UK copy of ASOT 2005 finally which I did, and I also got flyers
for Godskitchen, and then I went to my hotel, I slept 4h, then Debbie came around, I went
to meet her, by that time weather had gone to worse and it was quite cloudy, we had a
snack outside one of the supermarkets, and just talked about last night and everything,
We went to Starbucks for coffee, and then to Old Crown pub at around 8 when I thought
other forumers were gonna show up, THE DAWN in particular.
Well after being there for an hour or so, having few beers I could still recognise anyone,
infact it was filled up with elderly people, not at all clubber atmosphere, hehe
Then finally I met LeonB who I only knew from his website & photos, and I also saw
filthy_angel? again, and some other people came around 9.30 and things began to shape up,
I was expecting to meet stilsy and Stace but they were late and we finally met up at
the entrance of Gods at 10.30 it was a nice reunion again, I told them what they had
coming for not showing up in London for the best set ever, but no hard feelings ;)
We had fun and few drinks inside, and by this time I met a bunch of forumers I never met
before, Mac, DunC, Gregg, and some other guys & girls who I can't really rememeber names.
Godskitchen unlike Turnmills is a much different club, more open and all eyes on DJ,
and is an instituon sort of with great decor, and stunning dancers, they were at top of
their league saturday night, and I liked them so much I had to meet and talk to them after.
Armin and Erika walked through the door just before 12 and we said hi's quickly, and
he went on to play a great set, which unfortunately I can't remember many tunes from
except the breakdown of Adagio for strings remix, I didn't 'party hard' because I was tired
from night before, instead of that I was all around the club, took many pics., saw a lot
of nice people, and had a good night in general. Met THE DAWN finally, she was on her
usual again, she introduced me to everyone I think :D (sorry I didn't manage to give you
the CD I had brought for you if you read this), Armin played until 4 I think, and
by that time I had been chatting to Erika who was down on dance floor with us,
Debbie, stilsy, Stace, DunC, Mac, LeonB, Gregg, etc.................
We took some photos before the end, and I stayed 'til a quarter to 5 when I had to go
to catch a bus to London, once I was there I was freaked out that I lost my plane
confirmation ticket, but luckily you don't need one for Easyjet! pheew :p
I got to airport at 9 and had to wait around 'til 1pm and I got home finally at 5,
and I went straight to bed for next 15h, feeling I'd do it allover again in heartbeat,
when I closed my eyes I still saw people dancing!
Was in trancey delirium, hehe
In the end if you bothered to read :D thank you very much to everyone I've met that
made a great experience for me, but specially Debbie!!!, Armin and Erika!!!
Can't wait to meet you lot allover again, it's something I'll remember forever ;)
