Ok, back to work and reality.
I must say that this was my favorite Space experience to date.
Absolutely insane, right from the start. Kurt, the head door guy, who stood in line with Brent and I for PVD in 2001, apologized for the lines during WMC and comped. our admission. The main room set was something I would have loved to listen to on my couch, not there, as it was creative not banging. Enjoyed it but upstairs is where it’s at. Walked onto the terrace with Cedrick playing some crazy “girls” song, ID anyone?
Sander ripped the out of the terrace, told some bouncer to off and took Me, Cyn, and Colleen up into VIP where the Dom was flowing. Sander got so ripped he couldn’t walk straight and joined the CO-RAY-ZEE crew. I spent tons of time talking with Sanders buddies, even though they were so wasted half the words they spoke were Dutch. We were super wasted thanks to the crazy bartender Greg (Dave helped too), who when the night/day was over handed me a $100 bar tab when I expected it to be 3. So I tipped him a ton and he gave me an enormous stack of free admission cards. Then the most agonizing drive home EVER.
Great seeing everyone: Ryan, Rach, Phil, Flo, Zach, Matt, Colleen, James, and anyone I forgot to list.
GIANT Thanks to: RZO and Kelly, our driving buddies, and Dave, for letting us use his place and hanging out (I wish I wasn’t so far away).

co-ray-zee-ness it was...i will never forget this night...what an awesoem time we had..i am trying to get all my pics up now but in the middle of tranferring the 61 vids and pics i took (jees i didnt realize i had that many) my effin comp froze up..now i have to start all over so it may take a while...i got half of them already and looked at the vids... mr brightside was killer...many others we wil figure out a way to post...scott perhaps u can help or anyone that wants them |

Sander rocking the shirt was in classic!
the mainroom set wasn't on par, but its hard to match the one he played in february. the terrace was slow at first, but a couple songs before Cruel Summer it started picking up and after that it was ON!
Great seeing everyone again, I see you guys more in Miami than anywhere else and some of you live right by me :haha:
Definately going back in June, 'til then I have to deal this damn SWS (Sander Withdrawl Syndrome) |
