Good movie. Nicole Kidman looks cute as hell, Sean Penn is good as usual, but not great.
My beef with the movie: The fact that Sean Penn can work 2 weeks after certain events in his life transpire and he seams completely unaffected by them when he does his job. Also the ending was and I predicted most of it right from the beginning.
If you want a fairly predictable movie that has half decent acting then go see it, but skip the ending. |

| ah this film was rubbish, the part where penn showed that photo to kidman with the group of people, god did u see how bad they did that photo, it was like they used Microsoft paint to cut kidman into the picture, in a film like this things need to look real.it had all the typical story lines, drunk cop losses his wife, starts an investigation and gets attracted to the giril blah blah... |

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I assumed it was on purpose and she would deny that she was there and it would end up being a fake but I was wrong.
Cop loses wife, drinks his life away and calls his own house to hear her voice then becomes a fully functional secret service agent again, yeah alright. |
