I'm not a DJ by any means, but a friend of mine is being sold some Rega P3 Turntables. First of all, i know this is a lose question but he asked me to find out prices for:
a) Brand New
b) Used
If anyone knows please tell, but a link to some DJ equiptment stores online would do, as long as it has the decks.
What things should he look out for to ensure he's buying quality goods? Any tell tale signs of deck abuse, you know best so i'll leave it up to u, thanks in advance! |

I take it from this that he is getting 2 turntables to mix on???

Looking at this picture I cant see a pitch control so they will be pretty much useless for DJ'ing... |

Guys you are really showing your ignorance. Rega makes quality TTs, just because they are geared for the hi-fi market and not DJing does not mean they suck.
It looks like the P3 retails for between $600-$800.
Used prices will obviously vary. Read HERE about someone who got one from Ebay for $200 without a tonearm. So depending on the condition he may be able to sell it for more then 50 pounds.
Obviously this is not a good DJing table but is designed for listening on a high end system. If you are someone who is buying 12" and just want to listen to them on your crappy stereo I would get something cheaper. |
