Anybody here have their eyebrow done? I wanna get a bar in my eyebrow.. lookin for advice. A friend of mine said not to wash it with soap.
also, how hard is it to find a job. I'm applying at FedEx for a package sorting job.. doesn't involve the public.. I don't think they'd care that much. |

i had my eyebrow pierced.
it got ripped out at a concert like, 8 years ago. i remember it bled for like 4 hours nonstop and the doc had to give me cauterizing , which didn't work, so they had to use this lazer thingy to burn-cauterize it. that sucked. |

i had my eyebrow pierced once. i almost ripped mine out, too, with a towel. and then took it out.
advice: don't get it unless you're absolutely sure you'll keep it and stand it.
how to deal with it after having it done:
use the ointmnent they give you, if they do. put it on before and after you wash every time. don't move the piercing at all (obviously). don't swim, and avoid exposure to water (it's extremely prone to infections). iodine may help, also, but the colour will be evident, unless you have dark skin.
it should take about a month to heal completely..two/three weeks to heal to the point where you can move it a bit, but probably shouldn't.
anything else? |

it doesn't really matter if your job involves the public. never go apply for a job or go to an interview with facial or excess visible piercings.
my sister works at starbucks and apparently you can't have more than 2 in each ear. hah.
i have/had 14 piercings. |

I dont get it why people pierce their bodies,
Same goes for tattoos..
I know some would say it looks neat or cool or "it represents something" or just for the heck of it..but why go through all the trouble/pain in the first place?
PS, i'm just curious, not in anyway am i judging you guys |

i think it really depends for each person, as everyone (should) have their own reasons. i guess i should rethink my intentions because my only reason is that it looks good. :happy2:
i put my ex-girlfriends lip ring in my nose...thats how it all came about. damn..i looked hot as . :o :stongue: |

it was a phase i went through. piercings you can always take out, so i was never worried about that. tattoos, i don't have any and i'm glad. my sister has one of a playboy bunny on her lower hip, i told her when she's older it's going to look like a dead rat. ha.
stuff you just mature out of, like my tongue ring--i took it out & same with a lot of my other piercings. i kept my bellybutton one though. the jewelery i have in my bellybutton is a pinkish transparent flower circled barbell that glows in the UV light. have had it for years and i think it's too pretty to take out. ;) |
