Hey guys, just a quick question....
Hypothetical
I have two copies of the same record and try and beatmatch them together, with the cross fader in the middle and both channels up. I get a slight phasing effect, and i know this happens because the frequencies cancel each other out. Even after about two or three minutes of playing together they still sound exactly the same.
Would they be beatmatched properly if this happened? :conf: |

yes that meens they are SPOT ON!!!
which meens you want to set one back just by a mili second...
not much just tap the record to get it to stop that 'phasing' effect... |

Cool, thanks man.
I thought that was the case, but i wasn't sure. And oh yeah,i figured out that slowing it down very slightly gets rid of the phasing :p |

| use the EQs...when like that happens, i always end up lowering the mids and lows on the playing track...to cue in the new one. works like a charm. :) |

No it doesn't, it means that the waveforms of certain frequencies are exactly oposite to eachother. :)
Phase cancellation (or some other funky names people have for it).
Cheers
