me and a friend both have one of these and have never had any problems whatsoever. they are built like an absolute tank and dirt cheap.
(although if i could afford it i would have gone for the pcv 275 - just depends exactly how tight ur budget is) |
built like a tank and berhinger don't go together at all mate. |

| The VMX-300 is one of the very few things they did right. I'm happy with mine, but the DXM09 is so much sexier. |

i started with my pcv275 and a year and a half later, i'm still very happy with my purchase :tongue2
all around quality mixer, no problems, the faders are great, and the knobs are metal....not the cheap feeling plastic crap.....plus the kills are excellent! |

| Speaking of 3channel mixers, has anyone tried or heard anything about Ecler's Nuo 3 mixers lately? I wonder if it's as good as or better than their sweet Smac30 pro. |

| Honestly dude if you are going to get a 3 channel mixer get a vestax reguardless of what any body else says they are the best sounding 3 channel mixers around. But keep in mind if you have another channel then you will have an option of getting another plug in sometime down the track. In the end its your decision on how much you want to spend |

:wtf:
Worst mixer I've Ever owned!!! And i've owned about 6 mixers over the years. And this is easily the worst buy i've ever made. Sound quality sucks, up-fader curve is pure crap, no cf curve control, eq is almost worthless, it's phono preamps started to die on mine within months of purchase, and it just feels bad all around.
For the money find a pcv-275, ecler smac30 pro, or do what i did and save up and buy a Rane Empath. The Empath is easily the best 3 channel mixer ever created. |

I've got one! But then again, I have all ECLERs ;)
I really like the NUO3. Its pretty solid, good sound quality, and the faders feel nice. Plus the new PRE/POST settings for the FX loop really come in handy. Overall, its pretty impressive.
Check out the specs
oh, BTW, I have a SMAC 30 lying around for sale if anyone wants it. |

i currently have the VMX 100 and it sucks!! i got it off Ebay too so that is maybe why. i don't really like Behringer because of what kind of things they did and got sued for and stuff.
numark DXM mixers are good quality and will last you a few years (if handled properly) and, as Audigy7 said: they do look damn sexy:D

that does make sense cuz most of the high end mixers i've seen have plastic knobs, but the only thing i can think of is more metal in/on your mixer affects the magnetic field and thus the sound quality??:conf: |
