since this is directed at my post Ill just say that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to take half the crap on here "seriously" because alot of it IS annoying spam- Thats why. Noone ever said posts had to be about edm only but its annoying sometimes to come on here and have 4 out of 5 posts be about some drunk person or w/e. Its all good if everyone's having fun i guess; im just saying alot of the I personally have no interest in and its discouraging to come back and have to sort through 298590349 threads to find something of relevance. Happy spamming guys; no offense.. chill.. :toocool: |

I'm glad some of the old schoolers are voicing their opinions as to why they don't visit as much anymore.
So the million dollar question is: What's the local forum for?
I've always thought it was a place where locals discuss events and keep in touch with each other. Discussions about music are always welcomed but you can get a larger audience if posted in "Music discussion".
Which leads me to "spam".

Currently if it's not blatant spam I let it go. If what I'm hearing is people wanting more moderation and suppressing of spam I will happily do it. But for folks like MJM, Funketeer, Melly Mel and others in CP who are use to posting whatever is on their mind, it's a problem. In the end I can't please everyone. So what should I do? :conf:
Personally, if you're posting because you like to click that post button, it's spam and you should get a hobby. Posts with a reply like "heh" or a smiley face, or drunk threads that provide absolutely no value to another reader is spam. If you got nothing good to say, don't post. But that's just me. |

the reason why i said it was cause i hear some peeps saying that quite a few TA's don't post here anymore. You actually brought out the question as to why. You mentioned it... SO I ASKED. ;)
if you think about it, without limited or controlled SPAM, would it not make the board more interesting. I mean to sit back & have a good laugh, see what peeps go through day in & day out, rough times, new adventures, road trips, parties, NEW PETS, opinions. Aren't these people having fun & enjoying the board by sharing thoughts & events that occur??
If its not what u guys are looking for at the moment, so what. it's just that whatever is going on doesn't interest you. NO BIG DEAL. :tongue2
Don't thread names pretty much explain it all. "drunk thread", "omg i'm bored @ work", etc. etc... (SPAM THREADS) LOL.
IF the board would not have meaning less threads to kill time & have fun on the board while you are at work, how else would people enjoy TRANCEADDICT.com or there day at work?? :crazy:

You never see me starting any threads I just go with the flow & reply most of the time with the threads that are going on & have a good time. be for real scott. You make it seem we start crap here, when in reality we try to have fun.

That's why there's the CHILLOUT ROOM, also referred as .. COR!!... where you can join the other TA clowns, where you will find all this threads about the most random things.. but apparently some people have been confusing the COR with the FLTA board.. Really, is not about Atl. VS miami nor border BS here.. you can also try the HUMOUR section .. and why don't people post here anymore ?!?!.. There's a whooooooleee bunch of old skool TA's ( me included ) .. who use to post sooo regularly, I myself, barely post.. Ive gone to other parts of the forum.. basically because FLTA is just a post whoaring place.. threads are hijacked in unvelivable ways.. and the connection there once was is sort of lost.. other peeps have taking over and talk about other things.. and oohh.. TA has a lot of fun, you just gotta explroe more, click to the Chillout Room.. you'll have fun ;-)
