Taking a flight next month? Well, Christopher’s track ‘Filmer’ will be featured on American Airlines inflight radio station ‘In the Groove’ all this May. Be sure to tune in for a listen to one of Christopher’s most acclaimed down tempo tracks. Filmer will also be featured in a forthcoming FOX TV promotional DVD.

Christopher Lawrence website nominated for a "Webby Award"!
The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for web sites, has nominated ChristopherLawrence.com for the Best Music web site of 2005. The site was produced by 2Advanced Studios, a world-renowned interactive agency. Winners will be announced on May 3, 2005 and honored at The Ninth Annual Webby Awards in New York City on June 6th.
“I am thrilled that my web site has been nominated in the ‘Best Music’ category at the Webbys,” said International DJ, Christopher Lawrence from his Los Angeles home. “The overwhelming success of this site is due to the vision and genius of Eric Jordan at 2Advanced, whom many, including myself, consider the best in the business.”
Hailed as the "Online Oscars" by Time Magazine, The Webby Awards are determined by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization with a membership that includes musician David Bowie, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, The Body Shop president Anita Roddick, "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening, Real Networks CEO Rob Glaser, and fashion designer Max Azria.
"The Webby Awards honors the outstanding web sites that are setting the standards for the internet," said Tiffany Shlain, creative director and founder of The Webby Awards. "ChristopherLawrence.com’s Webby Award nomination is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators."
As a nominee for a Webby Award, the Christopher Lawrence web site is also eligible to win a People's Voice Award. Voting is open to the public from April 12th to April 29th at http://pv.webbyawards.com/.
The Ninth Annual Webby Awards received a record number of entries from over 40 countries and all 50 states. Founded in 1996, The Webby Awards are known worldwide for its famous five-words-or-less acceptance speeches.

Fleming & Lawrence ‘Attention’ out in June..
After some delays, John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence’s new single 'Attention', will be out on JOOF recordings this June. Promos have already gone out to the top DJs, with a big response! The track, which John describes as "a dark, driving trancer", has been featured on John’s Global Trance Broadcasts show. ‘Attention’ also features a remix by Steve Birch, whose single ‘Spaced Out’ was voted one of the top three trance tunes of the year by the BBC. Christopher has again made the Top Ten list in BPM magazine's annual ' America's Favorite DJ poll' for 2005. The influential list is widely regarded as the who's who in the US dance industry. Christopher wins “Best American DJ” at the IDMA’s!
Christopher won the Ortofon "Best American DJ" award at the 20th annual International Dance Music Awards, which were held at the Winter Music Conference in Miami last week. The award was presented by Macy Gray in front of thousands of WMC delegates. The International Dance Music Awards is considered one of the premier awards show for the dance music industry. Being the first of it's kind, it has set the precedent for all subsequent dance music awards shows. Over 10,000 ballots are cast to vote for the most innovative and elite artists, producers, promoters, remixers, and record labels in the industry. Dark techno trance, more on the underground tip.
He's very good, not obvious like AVB, Ferry. |
