just wondering after looking into it...or is it better to look into Battery, or Stormdrum, or even Vengeance or Ueberschall drum libraries. sylus looks cool, but i'm skeptical.

Stylus or Stylus RMX ??

Stylus RMX is ok (but not brilliant) for dance music, version 1 is e....all hip hop and R&Bish.

Get yourself some decent sample cds.
Tranc3
Both versions are awesome (although rmx is an upgrade for the original...I think they only sell RMX now), both suitable for EDM. Would be a bit harder to fit into the narrowly defined trance genre, but it could be done.

I believe he was asking about EDM. Are you saying that the original is crap for EDM because the drums are intended for use in hip hop and RnB? I could have sworn that both are actually part of the electronic dance music genre.

NO

get vengeance essential club sounds instead.. a lot of really great perc samples/loops and it's a load cheaper

I have stylus and all I use it for is the occasional slow-dance breakbeat loop which you can easily get from any sample CD

Stylus is basically a $400 percussion sample CD.. it's total

I wasted my $$$ on stylus dude (sample wise), RMX is , it offers me nothing as a producer that other software I own can do. Complete waste of money !!

stylus rmx it is one of the best drum soft that exist on the market...and that's not only my opinion.maybe you should learn how to use'it,matey...take a closer look at the software...it offers from effects up to vary unique drum loops, than can be programed as midi + a friendly interface.that's more to say about stylus...but i'll let you discover that!!!
