He most certainly doesn't call himself the italian techno master.
He was labeled that for 1 cd he mixed for ministry mag back in 2002, I repeat it was the magazine who named the cd NOT Mauro.
I'd have to say I think the first 5 releases on his new label alchemy have been pretty decent and he seemed to winning a lot of techno dj's over, like beyer, liebing, dj rush, and even the mighty jeff mills.
His new tunes tho sound cheesey as hell. The collaboration with fegie - funkytime:nervous: and his bootlegs of michael gray's - the weekend and king's of tomorrow - finally. |

Haven't heard these yet, but its a shame if he's gone cheesey. Why Fergie? He was starting to build up a decent rep. |

Don't think so but it was one of the best bootlegs around along with G&Ds mix over Serendipity or the one with Kelis - Milkshake. |

picotto makes cheesey stuff to money spin, he always manages to bring out quality stuff to compensate.

check out www.vitalvinyl.com they have a few of his tracks and the samples are of the entire track on that site rather than a small clip
i quite like playing footsie, greens, taotek and a few others...
ive also been spinning the Saccoman mix of komodo alot lately
i find Pandoro to be a bomb... kinda disapointed in Alchemist bit overboard on the klangyness... very very hard track to play out IMO, gotta be at the right time when everyone is totally into your set and just foaming at the mouth lost:crazy: |

| It's funny how he's a hard techno dj, but everyone knows him for his Megavoices Mixes of tracks. The original of "Back to Cali" is straight up techno, and so are most of his originals. I've always wondered, is Megavoices him and someone else, or a completely different set of producers? |

I don't care much if Coldfunk is released since I have a vinyl rip but Dark Room is a stormer of a track that I've been after for years. |
