Can anybody recommend some Dark Ambient? Some really moody and emotional stuff like:
Scanner - Lauwarm Instrumentals
Robert Rich & Lustmord - Stalker
Aphex Twin - SAW II (Specifically tracks such as Hankie/Rhubarb/Stone in Focus)
Tangerine Dream - Phaedra LP (Sequent C in particular)
I have ordered Desiderii Marginis - Strife and been waiting about 3 months, but I am expecting another good album in that. I also have Global Communication 76:14 which occasionally creates the kind of mood I am looking for.
I am not looking for chill out or easy listening like the Chilled out Euphoria/Cafe Del Mar series - good but not what I am looking for. You can recommend individual tracks or albums, whatever. |

| Get everything you can by Daniel Menche. His stuff never ceases to impress me. Especially the album Field Of Skin is an impressive effort. |
