hey ppl!
i ask myself if there is a real pc program with which ya can mix (it baby)...
I mean, that can i can use headphones and pre-listen to a track...so that i can make a real dj set with pc...okay, scratching is not soo good and important, but anyway, you dont have everything on vynil or @ me i cannot use the pc to record the whole thing (too far away :( )...and tape...sorry man, noway...
because you could use line out 1 for usual listening("what you hear") and the line out 2 ("headphones, cue")..
thx ppl |

If I where you i would buy myself a small cheap mixer, and would put the 2 line outs to that mixer, and you can use the que function there, and that's a lot easyer. You can still use the same software as you do now, and a small mixer doesn't have to be >1000 mark. Just go to a electricstore nearby, and get yourself a 2 channel mixer there for approx. 100 mark or less (if you want to upgrade later, it may be better to buy a bigger mixer, so it is possible to at TT's and other stuff later.

| I just got 2 soundcards in my pc, have a little mixer (approx 125 DM) connected to them and you can just mix with BPM-Studio or so... |

2 soundcards + cheap mixer (I use a Gemini PMX-80) + BPM Studio = really great combo for starting out.
BPM Studio is excellent, because the only it can do for you is count BPMs, and automatically adjusts pitch (although, I find it needs adjusting sometimes). Everything else is done by you. It's got just about everything a dual cd player has (or two cd decks). |

| I started out on a BPM-Studio and a cheap 80$ mixer.. it's very easy and really realistic. later i upgraded the mixer and then i bought a pair of CDJ-100's.. but i actualy learnt how to beatmatch and how to mix using that program. |
