I wish there had been a middle option, like "kind of" or something.

Parts of ISOS 4 are great. and keep the same feel to the series as the previous three did. I.E. Allure's The Loves We Lost, Blank & Jones' Perfect Silence, Odysee's Evolution, Gabriel & Dresden's Arcadia, LSG's Netherworld, and LNQ's People I used to Know.

but the thing that just kinda irks me is that the beginnings of CD1 & 2, and the ending of CD2 just aren't the same as the first three.

All previous albums opened up so slow/dreamy. it set the tone for the whole series. very chilling, and very emotional/moody. and the endings were almost always intense and ended on a final note.

but in #4 we've got a vocal track on CD1 which i personally don't like, and Palma Solane [although a nice track - its too upbeat for an opener for me. And Only One [Rave Mix] i think really sucks as a closer - i mean for God's sake it fades out at the end! ugh! wtf?

But there were also some surprises i think that made ISOS 4 stick out a little bit, like Matthew Dekay's Bad and Coca & Villa's La Noche. and i think Perfect Silence was a great ending for CD1.

overall, i picked it was worth the wait. despite the few problems i had with it, i think there are more positive than negative.

still think ISOS 2 was the best tho :)

Def. worth the wait! even tho i bought it 3 weeks be 4 it came out in the states...

I think CD 2 is amazing, I like also how Tiesto went prog on our behinds on CD 1...

Tiesto

*8.5 out of 10*

One of my fav cds!

Lionhead
No. Tiësto is not what he used to be. CD1 started nice, but then his current sound reared its ugly head and screwed it all up.
It all went downhill from Nyana, IMHO.
