So many composers/producers use aliases it is hard to keep track...
List interesting/little known aliases here. Try to put some sort of interesting story/context to it - just don't post lists.
I'll start with my next post. |

(another example of living under a rock below: )
Moogwai - Viola [2000] <--- one of the most fantastic trance tunes ever - I love this f'ing tune.
Chab - Closer to Me [2005] <--- top notch house tune - I love this f'ing tune.
Chab = Moogwai
It all makes sense now.... The progression from trance to house in my personal listening preferences seems to have been mirrored.
Unbelievable! |

When MIKE was only 18 years he presented a demotape to ‘USA Import’ and got a contract there. There he produced on different disguises, such as Mythe, The Boy From Nowhere, and the Vision Act.
He also began his own record label, called “Zombie Records”.
In 1994 his alter ego ‘Push’ was born, and it’s first release saw the daylight. ‘Acid Hysteria’ and ‘Cybernetic Empire’ would be the first releases under that alias.
1996 would be a big chance for MIKE, that year he joined Belgian label ‘Bonzai’, and together with another top notch producer, Yves Deruyter, he started producing and scoring one hit after the other.
In 1997 MIKE made a tune called ‘Universal Nation’ under the name Push, that was the biggest tune of that year. It could be heard just about everywhere and got great response, played by every big DJ like Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten (who remixed it also). Further Push productions weren’t postponed, and soon his first album became reality. ‘From Beyond’ has already had 6 different tracks remixed for the club: ‘Universal Nation’, ‘Cosmonautica’, ‘Till We Meet Again’, ‘Strange World’, ‘The Legacy’ and last but not least ‘Tranzy State Of Mind’.
He also got a bi-montly resident, at the R@tt, one of Scotland’s most famous clubs. There he puts his own touch on the music for the joy of the clubbers.
We will keep on seeing him producing, under all his different aliases, or seeing him DJ somewhere. He is one of Belgium’s finest export products (next to Belgian chocolate, beer, and waffles of course). |

I don't like this song at all. To me it sounds like something I'd hear while I was dying. More specifically, drowning. |
