| Creative Labs MuVo Neeon is equivalent to an iPod and is cheaper and has more options. I'd go with Creative Labs over Apple any day. More for your money, plus the quality is bitchen since Creative Labs was built off of enhancing and breaking through in audio technology |

| I think that one of the best mp3s are the ipods the battery, capacity, and sound quality is great I think...I had a creative Lab but they dont take beatings like the ipod now I am putting my Ipod to the test in 25 degree weather for more than 8hrs a day for more than 5 months now my creative lab only lasted 3 weeks at this weather. And I charge it at this weather and it works. Just like new. |

I've a muvo micro n200 1GB mp3 player for the last 3 months and in Toronto we've had some humid wacked out weather and it's doing fine. as for the Neeon if I ever get it I'll see how it holds up in unusual weather. |

what I meant by that is that you need a new computer running with windows XP. It is what the guy at best buy told me if I wanted the IPOD to work. So I spent over four grand for a new computer; do you think the guy tricked me, since I don't know much? |

hahahahaha you got suckered! for 4k you could get a system 3x better than what you probably purchased if you bothered to do the research. plus the fact that you defaulted to the iPod without checking the competition (Creative Labs Neeon mp3 player and Zen Micro or MuVo micro n200 series [ muvo micro for the equivalently far better mp3 player than the iPod Shuffle]) for comparable features, quality and price means you got shafted for more than you should've paid. I can tell you now that you can run win 98 with the proper tweaking (which won't be easy for someone like you I can imagine) and have your iPod aka money-burner-designer-mp3 player running on it. What're the specs on your new computer? I'll tell you now you probably spent more than needed.
In the end, your computer's requirements should be fairly low and definitely NOT the deciding factor for getting an mp3 player. you look at the specs of the mp3 player and determine what you want mainly to gain from it and prioritize and come to a compromise in possible players. |
