shopping.. mixer.. 4ch.. which of these..?

In the market for a new mixer cuz
a) my VMX300 is dying
b) I'll need 4 channels; for the 4th source (a second cd-player)
I've narrowed to these... but can't decide beyond them just because i can't figure out if durability or quality is more important than features or price.
1) Allen & Heath Xone62 .. can get it for $1000 CDN +15% tax
pros: quality, build, 4-band EQs, Filters
cons: I'd prefer the Xone92 cuz I'm a feature feind, but may not want to wait for it to drop in price
2) Denon DN-X1500 .. can get it for about $1400 CDN +15% tax
pros: FX section, matrix input assign, digital, updates
cons: dunno about build quality
3) Tascam X9 .. can get it for about $1100 CDN +15% tax
pros: 2 fx sections, excellent feature list
cons: i may not like the parametric EQs over, say, the A&H 4-band EQs
4) Ecler Nuo5 .. can get it for $1300 CDN +15% tax
pros: quality, FX section
cons: i dunno any yet |

with exception of Xone 062, those prices are outrageous. Contact me at [email protected] and I'll hook you up. Even with shipping and possible customs costs, those prices are still very high.

they're canadian prices, not USD. ... Back when I bought my decks from djmart.com... the $700/ea 1210M5Gs became $900/ea 1210 M5Gs just because of customs charges... it's absurd! for maybe $10 extra, I could prolly do better here locally... unless there's some insanely incredible discount from a US-based dj shop. |

Yeah DJMart is probably the place to go -- I just found this out the hard way. I contacted them for a price on the xone:92 (need a second mixer) but I got confused by the email I got back. Well to be honest I was pretty anxious to get one so I didn't bother to clarify with them. Soooo I bought it locally for $1500 + $30 shipping from A&H thinking I got a good deal.
Like 15 minutes I get a call from DJMart (not sure it if was Daniel) saying they had it in stock and would do $1450 including shipping. Don't you hate that?
So I would have saved $80, supported a TA and had the mixer by now. Oh well -- next time for sure I'm going with DJMart. I hope when I get the xone:92 on Wednesday it will stack up to my Rane 2016. Sounds like it will be just as much fun to mix on. :) |

damn, sorry bro, I was the one the answered the case, and if I knew you were a fellow TA, well... price would have been lower.
