Paul Oakenfold - Oakeys Orange Hours Special (Queensday Mix) (04-30-2005) (pg. 8)

This is definately Oakey, from the light melody of the opening tune to the two peter martin tracks (A favourite artist of his) the classic instant switchover mixes, track 4 sounds like it belongs in the Shadow Lounge world tour mix, the double looping of 'Luke Fair - Generations,'Probspot - another Oakey fave, 'Sander Kleinenberg - The Fruit' is typically Oakenfold sounding a lot like 'emit' which he caned for ages and the classic harder finish to the set with the last 3 tunes. Oh and Adagio for strings to finish. I can't believe people doubt this is Oakenfold.
Plus he speaks like 3 times during the set. |

once again guys-
hate to always bring back things from the grave, but i truly believe this is not oakenfold but instead someone along the lines of wessel avan dippen. you can hear his name dropped by both oakenfold and the female announcer at either the beginning of track 5 or 6. i think oakenfold is just hosting this like markus schulz does with his guest djs each week. can someone prove me wrong? |

This is Oakey 100% if you have heard his old sets from 99-01 then you would know this. Even if I was guessing who this was, I would still say Oakey as all the pointers are there as I have stated already. Also. when has oakenfold ever hosted a radio show before? You can check for yourself, go to dancedepartments website and see for yourself that it is Wessel Van Diepen's show.

| I dont see how Oakey mixed this, its too clean. It sounds very computer generated. Everything is dead spot on. |
