| Is it possible to just have software and timecoded vinyl? Or is it necessary to have that module like the serato scratch live or finalscratch |

| Yes, but you'll still need a nice soundcard to let your computer do the work of turning timestamps into music. djDecks is one software program out there that can do this, theres some other ones too: http://www.djdecks.be/index.php |

wow thats awesome! can it just be routed using mixer out to audigy 2 line in, then pc speakers out?
TURNTABLES -> MIXER -> COMPUTER -> Speakers |

| I think the way all these systems work is the role of the computer is only to "translate" timecode into music, so it would be something like turntables -> computer(soundcard/module thingy) -> mixer -> amp -> speakers. If the audigy has two line-in's and two line-out's and has ASIO, I think you can use it in this setup. |
