I love it! But then again, Ive only mixed on my friends' Stanton and played around with others at GT.
1 bad ass feature, when connected to a set of CDJs, is the fader start. It can be initialized in 2 ways: With the crossfader or channel fader.
When I was looking for a mixer in that price range, I was looking at the 707 and the DJX300. After a minute of playing with the faders, it was apparent the 707 is damn smooth and is very much comparable to much higher priced units. |

| if you are scratching in your mixes, buy it and you will definitly fall in love with it. aside from the fader start feature, it also has curve controls for the up faders as well as the crossfader. another feature that scratch DJs LOVE is the crossfader "tightness" adjustment. fader too light? or too stiff? it comes with a little allan wrench that you can adjust the feel of the crossfader as well as the curve. IMO this is one of the best scratch mixers on the market right now under $500. if i were a scratch DJ, I'd probably own one. but my PCV275 is doin me just fine. |

Even though I dont scratch (yet...) the faders are damn smooth. The adjustment screw for the x-fader is pretty sweet too, as I have it a little tighter for just mixing.
And being that the faders are all electrically controlled, it will last quite a bit longer than typical sliders. |
