I just hate Ipods, dont like the design, battery sucks balls, overprices, you dont get what you pay for. poor options (they've got something to learn from creative) itunes sucks too, dont ahve fm tuner or line in, or recorder or 2 mics. and they dont have usb on the go (connect your camera to the iriver and upload the pictures on to it!) ipods dont have search functions (hope iriver does?)their ipod photo only has 65k colours, while Iriver has 256k. they dont sell remote as standard anymore. getting easy scratched. Ipod and Itunes synchronises so if you delete songs on the ipod, next time they will get deleted on itunes? and its a FRICKING FASHION, Its not cool to have ipod cause everybody else has it. fricking mainstream people.
I think I can think of more negative things about ipod, but lets just continue with what mp3 player I want :)

| I'm going to be picking up my M3L later today (FedEx delivered at 9 AM when my apartment complex's desk is closed for some reason, so I've got to go pick it up), so I'll let you know how it is. |

| Huzzah! Got my M3L finally! Seems pretty nice so far. They include a lot of stuff: headphones (if you need them), case, docking station, cables, etc. Navigating the menus is pretty easy. So far looks like a winner to me. |

Go for an iPod. I got an fourth generation iPod, it fits me like a glove. 20 gigs of space, is sufficient for me. I really like the simple interface (designed by a dutch Industrial Design student, or so I'm told ;-) ) and the sound quality is also outstanding (not just my opinion, it has been tested as one of the best, together with iRiver several times).
Only downside is maybe the cost (about 350 dollar) and the battery life (Apple claim 12 hours, but in fact it's more like 8-9 hours). |

Does anyone have any comments on why I should not buy iriver h340? I can find it for $550 (australian that is) plus shipment, I think thats a really good price.
I think im going for that one :D |

Go for it. Most people I know who own an iriver are extremely happy with theirs. |

Schedule to record TV shows and movies automatically, then rewatch them on the color screen. Listen to hours upon hours of music, etc. If you dont want to spend that much money they make a different model that is a bit smaller and cheaper.

another thing is that all the people actually have an ipod they use those white headphones because it says: I have an ipod. Honestly, they cant be much of a music lover when they use that kind of crap. buy something better.
Yup, thanks for advice folks, I might go for the iriver.
I dont want to buy a multimedia player, I think the iriver does it for me
regardign zen micro, the capacity is a bit too small and I dont like dells.. hehe |
