Tecnics MK2s + Records

I'm selling my Technics 1200 MK2's simply because they are not getting the use a loving DJ could give them. I don't have the time to spin and as I was sold them, I will sell them to someone who will give them more use. There is nothing wrong with them that impairs their functionality. One turntable does not have the actual START button on it but you can press the levers to activate the turntable. The other turntable does not have the 33/45 buttons on it but you can press down the buttons like the cover does when you press it down. I do have the 33/45 buttons (as well as a replacement START/STOP button) and will send them as well (obviously). I never got around to actually putting them in. The turntable without the start button in placealso has a burned out pop-up light which I also have a replacement LED for and it does not go down (fix the Lock on the internal part of the turntable). Other than these few 'problems', they play great! I spinned on them this past weekend. Also, I'm not too sure if there is anything wrong with the hinges on the rears for covers but I have all parts for the buyer. Here are some links to a few quick pictures displaying my setup and the turntables.

As you can see, I have painted them.. I bought the paint+clear coat from Wal-Mart. I forget the actual names of them but can give them to you if you would like to know (or you can buy 'skins' for them). The turntables will come with needles. I have for the buyer an Ortofon Scratch cartridge and a Ortofon Concorde Elektro cartridge. With them the buyer will receive a scratch stylus and 2 Elektro stylii (all in great condition) in their natural cases. Aside from the cartridges, the buyer will obtain 2 sweet "bling watch" slipmats (as seen in the above pictures :P), 1 partially used can of Gruv-Glide with cleaning mats, and 1 vinyl rag. I promise that these turntables work fine. They just require some time to fix up but will serve their purpose. They are technics and stand the test of time.

Record List

Some records are not listed because I could not find them on discogs when I bought them so I never got around to adding them to my 'collection' for web listing purposes. If the buyer requests the names of the records I will happily provide them.

I am asking $625+S&H for the whole package. This package does not include my headphones or mixer. You are getting TWO technics MK2s and a bunch of trance, some house/progressive, and a few drum&bass titles. I will only take cash or paypal. Once payment is complete I will ship! I will not ship outside of the .US as the shipping would be really expensive (I think?) for the buyer. I am in Ohio and a local pickup can be arranged if you are also in Ohio.

I have bought from a few members such as Keithos on this board so look to others if you doubt my honesty.

Basically. every record will go for $5 in the lot.. so I'd be willing to part with the lot (almost 90 records I believe - will check if you would like) for $440 (maybe 435) $10 off from the totalling amount of $450. I did some math on the shipping.. I googled to find how many grams a 12" weighs and I think it came to be 125-180 so I took 90*150 as an avaerage and divided it by 16(number of ounces in a pound)*28(grams per ounce) which came out to be around 31 pounds. As you can see I am not sure if this is correct and/or how it will affect shipping.

wow, reading that and then multiplying five times the number of vinyl i have just made me realize how much money i've spent :nervous:
and i'd say i paid way more on average than $5 per record :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
