Ok I think I will order following from www.htfr.com

Pioneer CDJ-200
Denon DNX-1500

For total 1094 euro, is this store/website good? Becouse I live in Sweden so I have to order and stuffs here in Sweden are very expensive.

I will mix mainly trance, hard trance, maybe a dance, rap, RnB etc.

Or should I go for 2x Technics SL1210MK5 and a Denon DNX-1500 for 1437.00 euro, and buy a CDJ-200 later on when I will start using CD's and order vinyls?

Check www.chemical-records.co.uk out aswell, their denon DNX 1500 costs less and the Technics 1210MK5's costs very little, same with Pioneer CDJ-200, any regards on what I should choose? CD or vinyl, becouse I will mainly mix trance, hard trance, hard house, club, hard dance.

Personally, I would go with vinyl and get a cdj later on. And I would stay away from HTFR.com, I've heard nothing but bad things about them.

As for the gear you selected, it's all great stuff. I wish I had the money for a DNX-1500...

Thanks m8, think I'll go for the vinyls then :gsmile:

I'm always happy to see people jump forward with the "WHOA, stay away from HTFR!" comments...

HTFR.com = Bad for your health...

Well, I will buy following:

1 st Pioneer DJM-600
2 st Technics SL-1210MK2
2 st Ortofon Concorde pick-ups
2 st Ortofon Nightclub needles

All used for 1 791,84 USD
DJ Elf
Well, he hasn't answered the phone so I looked around on other setups.

Found following:

2x Technics SL1200 MK2
1x numark dm3002x

Stanton and Ortofon pickups will come with the package, but he doesn't write what kind they are.

Costs: 1 308,72 USD and then I can buy a Numark CDN-36 for 596,36 USD.

Tot: 1905,08

Else I can buy:
1x Tech 12** MK2 413,28 USD
1x Tech 12** MK2 482,16 USD
1x Pioneer DJM-600S 1 069,12 USD

Tot: 1964,56

Or:

2x Technic SL1200 MK2 - 964,32 USD
1x Behringer DJX-700 - 235,74 USD
1x Numark CDN 36 - 596,36 USD

Tot: 1 796,39 USD

Is it really that necessary to buy a good mixer or can I use that mixer for a while till I get more used and need more functions, or do I need a 4 channel mixer for the first setup?

I will mix most kind of music so it might be the best to go for the first setup? Then upgrade the mixer when I need more functions.

Other UK ones: >JBS<

>DJ Store<

or maybe even >Podd Sound<

Why should I look on the UK sites? It aint cheaper what I know.

id stick with the 200s, or just techs..

an awesome mixer to start off would be so much fun.
Psiweaver
i would suggest going with the denon over the pioneer mixer.
