| you have to make sure your files arent hidden before doin this. My Computer - select F drive - Explore - Ipod Control - Music - then search in folders for what it is your lookin for exactly. you can do this by doin a search in the Ipod Control folder. gl |

thats not true is it?
Cant you just plug a usb cable into your comp and send it back?
whats the point otherwise. Coz the best part of my zen is taking round to someone else comp, pluggin it and sharing my music with them. |

I swear to god Nou, if I ever had a long lost twin brother, he would be you. I've yet to see you post something I don't agree with. |

I'm almost ready to jump on this bandwagon too. I've got an iAudio M3L coming either tomorrow or Wednesday. If that's as sick as it looks to be, I'll be on the anti-iPod boat. Right now I'm irritated enough. I've had my iPod for less than two years and the battery doesn't even last two hours anymore. Want to replace it? $99. Why bother? That's just one of the many flaws iPods have. |

1. take hammer
2. place ipod on cement
3. smash ipod until you break a sweat
4. cry cuz you just broke a worthless $400 POS |

Not that this is in direct relation with the subject at hand but just tought I'd let you know why it's doing that ... if you don't know already.
Industry lobbiests ( from the recording industry side ) pushed for a means of protection on digital audio devices. They came up with DRM Digital Rights Managament.
It's not implement on all the hardware on the market but if a product has DRM protection you may not be able to:
-copy files to another computer
-play copyright protected files ( wma has pretty strong security capacities )
and some other random security features.
Now off course there's always some work arounds. ;) |
