I havent seen either one, But I am really diggin both styles...
DT sounds dope and like he could put on a good show as for deep dish those two kids can produce but I am afraid they might not do as well in action!! :conf: |

WHY?!
1) i love nic fanciullis style of house music, tough chunky yet still funking funky acidy electroey tek-house ... SO GOOD. imo he is playing the best house music out there right now (after lawler of course ;))
2) deep dish ... its weird i used to LOVE deep dish in their pre 2002 days (their renaissance / yoshiesque cds are awesome) and then i started disliking them (i hate their GUs and i didnt care for them the times i saw them live in that period) but then i went out and saw them twice last year and I thought they were ING AWESOME both times I saw them so they have fallen back in favor with me ...
3) the lineup in the drink is REALLY good
4) i didnt really like danny t last time he came here, not housey enough for me / too plodding and monotonous for me ... maybe if he played a smaller venue it would be less "big room sounding" and id like it more ... but hes not so i wont be going to see him ... |

I have no clue...
DD were ing AMAZING when i saw them in Miami this past March.
DT is great too..
For now, leaning towards DD. But the guv!!! :whip: :whip: Don't get me wrong, I love the place...its just the sketch / crowd factor has got to a point beyond I can handle.
We'll see closer to the date. |

I hear you - cannot stand the fact of paying 30-50 bucks to not be able to dance to DJ's that I admire/respect/know (I dont just take drugs and get into a ed up mess - that was soo Connected in '98 - pacifiers anyone??).....and when I do get to dance - constantly being stepped on/elbowed/shoved/pushed/leered at...etc - extremely postive energy draining......
THESE DJ'S SHOULD BE IN KOOL HAUS ALWAYS!!!!!! FAACK!!!

which is why DT and Tiesto are good at the DOCKS - room to dance is important for me - I tend to close my eyes kinda and do my circle thing - being jarred out of this state constantly.......:mad: :mad:
let's hope that the crowd at Danny T IS better than last time (more cross genre lovers than haters - dancers than standers...):tongue3 |

Amen to that...can't repeat enough how I hated the crowd last time...it stank of sweat on leather...I really can't wait to surround myself with my TOTAs...Kelly...it's gonna be a BLAST!!!! (this time I expect YOU to keep your eye out for ME!!! LOL!!!! ;))

I just ordered my Danny T ticket so I'll definitely be there. I've never seen him and I doubt he'll come to the D anytime soon.
Might go to Deep Dish beforehand - I've seen them last year at the LOL in TO but wasn't overtly impressed. Besides, my little sister might be along for the show this weekend....gotta introduce her to electronic right proper. |
