I'm thinking about purchasing a new toy but i don't have a clue where to begin. I know absolutely nothing about any of this hardware. All i know is that i love playing my software version of the Rebirth RB-338 and a friend of mine just picked up an MC-505 Groovebox which he's going on about although i've yet to hear it. I really want to find a good peice of hardware to start messing around with but i don't know where to begin. I'll probably start off by limiting myself to one piece at < $300. I know for that price whatever i get might have to be used which is fine.
I don't even know the names of the different pieces of electronics and can't browse anything firsthand as i live on a remote island with no electronics outlets.
I think i'm looking for a synthesizer/drum machine...
Can anyone throw me a bone here? |

Stolling through Ebay here...
Any thoughts on the Roland MC-505 or the Roland EF-303?
(not that i know what they do but they sound like what i might be looking for)
Roland MC-303?
Roland MC-09? |

Ok... this is the dj booth, djing is mainly mixing songs tegether and messing with them live. The production studio forum is back this way >>PRODUCTION FORUM :tongue2
You would have had to pass the production forum on the way to this one already. |
