What ONE word would you use to describe their music ?
What impact have they had on you?
What do you think about while listening to "Sigur 9 B Untitled" or "Sigur 9 A untitled" off of the Sigur 1/ Sigur 9 album (CD & DVD)

They are great. Although I've only heard parts of Von, Agaetis Byrjun and (). One word to describe them? Otherworldly.
My favourite album is easily (), it is simply beautiful and its power (especially the last two tracks) is not easily matched. |

| they are definatly one of the finer bands around today.. euphoric isnt the right word but it's the first word that comes to mind. |

I love these guys - easily one of the greatest bands I've ever heard. Their music is amazing. I think my favorite album of theirs is ( ) but Ágætis Byrjun and Von are phenomenal as well.
I haven't been able to find a copy of the Sigur 1/ Sigur 9 or Ba Ba/Ti Ki/Di Do albums yet :( |

I received mine for $4.00 !! They've always got great steals.
Sigur 9 B untitled is very very short and minimal.. but perhaps the sweetest sound to ever grace my ears.

Just got it in the mail today and listened and played from the end first. You're right !! I just had to keep driving until finally I was in a town I've never been before. Excellent experience :D

See I don't find this music depressing.. well some yes. I have to skip a song or two because I know I'll end up in tears everytime. But most I find to be spiritual and soothing, making you a bit lethargic. I have a friend who CANT listen as he says its too depressing. |
