no, Age Of Love - Age Of Love was the first track to be called "trance". Resistance D - Cosmic Love/Dance 2 Trance - We Came In Peace came in tied for second.

and platipus is probably responsible for epic trance. Children, plus they were releasing progressive trance since as early as 1993 when it was founded. it popularized prog trance and so trance in general.

You sure about that? Although there's much murkiness on the subject, the first generally agreed trance track is almost certainly a production by Jam & Spoon or one of their aliases. And the first track to simply be called trance came a couple of years before those.
