The Floor lay paved with broken hearts

Essentially your dear Floor has been in a very happy relationship for approaching 7 months now. But a certain thing of late has become a cause for concern.
Having been informed of the love his other half feels for him a number of months ago, your precious Floor naturally thought that it wouldnt be long before he fell equally in love with the object of his affection, and they would live happily ever after.
However such feelings have not transpired, and this has left your darling Floor in something of a quandary. He is left wondering what is holding his feelings back, and even whether he is capable of loving at all. Perhaps the fear of falling for someone, and then losing them, was a consideration at first, but as the relationship has progressed your sweetface Floor is so contented with how things are that he no longer worries himself with thoughts of breakup.
Now his sweetheart has started to question whether this situation has arisen because she is not "the one" for him, but your charming Floor doesnt really have any answer for this for how would he know whether she is or isnt "the one"?
I guess what your lovable Floor is trying to acquire from this thread is a little encouragement that there is a future for his relationship, but also he wonders how long it has taken others to fall in love and perhaps whether some have had to come to the conclusion that this isnt the right person for them, and that they should get out now to avoid breaking hearts down the line |

PATRICK is not immune to the strong emotions evoked by the
melancholy sound of the saxophone --
-- he can actually feel the power of the music working on him,
tugging on his heart-strings, sweeping him along...
In one fluid motion, PATRICK removes a .45 CALIBER PISTOL from a
holster beneath his coat, expertly screwing a SILENCER onto it.
The SAXOPHONE PLAYER opens his eyes, immediately NOTICING the GUN
in PATRICK's hand --
-- he stops playing, the tip of the saxophone still in his mouth.
PATRICK nods for him to continue...
...the MAN tentatively resumes playing as --
-- PATRICK RAISES THE GUN to his face.
Terrified, the MAN continues blowing into his sax.
PATRICK PULLS THE TRIGGER IN MIDNOTE.
A huge crimson ring instantly appears behind the SAXOPHONE
PLAYER's head as...
...the BOOMING SOUND of a gunshot rings out, stunning PATRICK.
THE SILENCER DIDN'T WORK!
The SAXOPHONE PLAYER falls to his knees, collapsing onto his
bloody instrument.
PATRICK angrily pops the clip, replacing it with a full one...
goddamn silencer! |
