Have any TA's been? I'm going this Sunday-Thursday and was curious if the nightlife was worth checking out at all. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

| I haven't been to Cancun like 8-9 years, but I look at MTV Spring Break think and it looks like it's still pretty lively out there. I don't think Cancun nightlife has ever died. They have some pretty unique looking clubs out there. |

all the clubs are great, i think, ing get wasted, and the vibe is just different because nobody gives a about anything when they are down there, i would go to as many places as you can handle!
music is mixed, mostly hip hop, but it's still fun and then they play some top 40 style trance, kinda like armin, haha. |

| I was in Cancun two years ago for a week. Most clubs play commercial top-40s (Senor Frogs, Coco Bongo aka the club in the big rock, Daddy Rocks). The bigger clubs have a lot of live shows like acrobats and Elvis inpersonators. La Boom would be your best bet for dance music. PvD has played there before and I saw John Digweed there. I sugguest NOT getting the all you can drink deals because you are limited to what you can drink and the lines to the drinks is usually very long. It's not worth it in my eyes. - Scott |

I went to Cancun 3 years ago during my college spring break (wow...it's been that long ago)...basically La Boom was my favorite club. It was nice and spacious. The hip hop room and the trance room were pretty big from what I remember. Daddy'O. Daddy Rock, Tequilla Boom, Coco Bongo are all worth checking out in terms of clubbing.
I'd also recommend Senor Frogs and Fat Tuesday for gettnig hammered during the day. |

| la boum is where you wanna be...it has a cave and and when i was there in 2002 it was the only place with edm...and the dope thing is it was afterhours so i would wnd up there by myself at like 8 in the morning rocking out to some crazy techno....oh ya dont buy coke or e from any of the guys outside the clubs...u might get arrested like i did and have to pay like 150 bucks to get off...u can find dope through cabbies and dont forget about the wonderful pharmacies there...i could tell too many stories from cancun...it is a wild place...:crazy: :crazy: |

Sounds like La Boum is the place to check out. How are drink prices there compared to here?
