A DJ for over 10 years, Jeremy was instrumental in developing Toronto's
rich techno and deep house scene in the mid to late nineties. Today, he
continues to push the Canadian electronic scene forward alongside many of
Canada's respected artists, producers and organizers. One of Toronto's
most prolific techno and tech house DJs, he has held some of the city's
most influential residencies such as Blue, Mission and Fukhouse @ System
(the largest techno monthly in Canada). Now Living in Berlin, Jeremy has
infiltrated the ranks of the minimal and techno scenes with edgy releases
for labels such as TRAPEZ, WMF & DUMB-UNIT, releases that have garnered
much international praise. His exciting live sets have crept up to grace
the dance-floors at the MUTEK festival in Montreal (opening for Richie
Hawtin & the Minus showcase), the 2003 TRANSMEDIALE Festival in Berlin and
numerous clubs throughout Europe.

Named after an old DJ mix first made and handed out on cassette back in
the mid 90's, Detached [05] is a continuation of Jeremy's trademark sound
and style; deep thumpy minimal with a dark heady edge. It's a sound
continuously remodeled by the healthy roster included on this mix, a
diverse gathering of both renown and upcoming minimal artists. A
compelling and colourful mix with pieces molding, weaving and cutting
through themselves DETACHED [05] chugs along, while Jeremy's disciplined
programming keep the mix fluid and tight. A pushing yet satisfying DJ mix
and one with countless more highlights to mention. A worthy endevour that
effortlessly keeps the mind and behind in motion .
